Time passes too fast

The past 4 years have passed so VERY quickly.  I took this picture of Jaicie yesterday and can't believe how grown up she looks.  Jaicie became part of my life when she was five and now she will be 10 in August.  At five you could still pick her up and carry her!  If we were out for long walks she would become tired and we would push her in an unbrella stoller. 

Now here she is....

New Home

While sitting here nursing my sore throat, I thought it would be a good time to catch up posting on here.  We have been busy; mostly with work and everyday life....and we bought a NEW HOUSE!  May 31st we got the keys to our new 5 bedroom 3 bathroom home.  We were so excited and I was a little apprehensive because we still own another home, but I have great renters and that anxiety has passed.  We put our old living room furniture downstairs and the emptiness upstairs was making me feel very unsettled, so we finally bought furniture and it is feeling more like home everyday. 

I am still in the process of looking for a rug and curtains to add some color to the room. 

For the past 5 years I have driven to a from work one particular way........It has taken a few weeks to remember to drive the correct direction when I am coming home :)  I think I have gone the wrong way 4 times and had to turn around.  My car was just on autopilot. 

The puppies adjusted quickly and love the huge new yard.  They weren't quite used to people and other dogs on all sides and took to barking for a while, but are pretty content now.  Jaicie loves her new pink room and the playset and pool outside.  It has been so nice having the extra room and basement in this house, especially when Jaicie has sleepovers.  Its an amazing feeling!
